Gift living is my love language...
Shop like a local this holiday season
Ever since I was little, I‘ve always found immense joy in gift giving. Throughout the year, I think of unique and highly personalized gifts that will afford someone special in my life a “surprise-and-delight moment”.
I’ve spent countless hours of my life thinking about how to show someone how special they are to me by the gifts I give them... And in the process, it fills my cup - a selfish activity, really!
As I get older, the priority in my gift giving has shifted away from material things to collective, shared experiences — quality time, if you will. I do, however, always aim to shop local and small — and the many talented Vermont makers make realizing this goal easy.
In this Vermont holiday gift guide, you’ll see a highly curated list, specific to the holiday season in 2025, with many of my personal favorite Vermont brands and products reflected. I also included adventures and activities — whether with a child or partner — that will afford your loved one with perhaps the best gift of all: presence and new life experiences collected, together. Happy gifting and thank YOU for supporting small!
