Beverage Warehouse, Winooski: Vermont’s biggest craft beer shop, Beverage Warehouse, also known as the Bevvie and Winooski Beverage, has a huge selection of beer, cider, mead, wine, and spirits in Vermont.

Cheese and Wine Traders, South Burlington: Located on Williston Road, Cheese and Wine Traders is the best place to find the fixings of your own charcuterie board with awesome local beer and wine to pair with it.

Pearl Street Beverage, Burlington: The best beer shop downtown, Pearl Street Beverage is a favorite among locals for their wide selection of cans and bottle and their growler bar.

Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury: Located across the street from Prohibition Pig in “Waterbeery,” Craft Beer Cellar is a high-end destination for the craft beer lovers in your life with great bottles, cans and tasting events.

Meuleman’s Craft Draughts, Rawsonsville: Vermont’s tiniest craft beer shop, Meuleman’s packs a punch in their 800 square feet with nearly 250 bottle offerings from floor to ceiling, along with growlers, kegs, and Vermont snacks in Southern Vermont. Oh, and they almost always have Backacre for purchase.

Meditrina Wine & Cheese, Chester: For your beer, wine, and cheese needs, Meditrina in Chester has you covered with a big offering for a small Vermont town.

The Crooked Ram, Manchester: This craft beer tap room, wine bar, and small bites destination is worthy of a stop for not only the atmosphere but the to go bottles available in their on-site shop.

Brewfest Beverage, Ludlow: One of few craft beer shops in Southern Vermont, Brewfest in Ludlow has a wide selection of domestic and international beer, as well as growlers and brewing supplies.

Willey’s Store, Greensboro: Where else can you find Hill Farmsteads shelvies? No where but Willey’s General Store in Greensboro. They also have other hard-to-find bottles in Vermont; I’ve gotten bottles of Jackie O’s there in the past.

Healthy Living Market & Cafe, South Burlington: A locally owned market in South Burlington, Healthy Living has a great selection of cans and a few bottles. Don’t miss their awesome cheese and olive selections to go with the beer you pick up.

City Market / Onion River Co-op, Burlington: At both locations off of Pine Street in Burlington and downtown on Winooski Ave, City Market offers a healthy selection of Vermont craft beer.

Natural Provisions Health Store & Deli, Williston: Located at Taft Corners, Natural Provisions has a well-rounded offerings of craft beer cans and bottles. They also offer organic, vegan and bio-dynamic wines.

Hunger Mountain Co-Op, Montpelier: One of few locations to get Backacre in Vermont, Hunger Mountain Co-Op is a favorite destination for craft beer enthusiasts, which also has an awesome deli.

Middlebury Natural Food Co-Op, Middlebury: The Middlebury Co-op is one of few places in Addison County to find quality, fresh beer, cider, and mead. They also offer case discounts on their wine.

Richmond Market & Beverage, Richmond: Richmond Market, Jericho Market and Johnson Market, all in the same family, have great beer, wine, and cider selections for a small, independent super market chain in Vermont.

Awesome selections of craft beer at Vermont gas stations? Yes, we’re spoiled. Here are a few gas stations in Vermont with surprisingly good beer selections.

Finelli’s, Colchester: Lucky for me, Finelli’s is our local gas station in Colchester and they have an awesome selection. In fact, they still have KBS in their cooler, ready to be snatched up.

Route 7 Liquor & Deli, South Burlington: On the Shelburne Road corridor, Route 7 is a great stop for a wide-variety of beer, as well as a seafood truck that frequents the spot.

Jolly Riverside Mobil, Jericho: A hidden gem in a small Vermont town, the Jericho Jolley has a beer cave with some surprise craft beer finds for a gas station in Vermont.

  1. Back home in Brattleboro, there aren’t any bottle shops which is unfortunate. But, there are two great places that have a great selection of not only Vermont beers but others from around New England. The Brattleboro Co-Op is my go to when I need to stock up and bring beer back to NC. Also, Discount Beverage on Rt. 9 in West Brattleboro is the best gas station to grab some fine beer from breweries such as Four Quarters, Foley, Frost etc.
