Poorhouse Pies makes some of the best pies around in their self-service pie shop on Route 15 in Underhill, so much so they sell out early many days and it’s the only place I’ve seen a line around the building for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Get the Maple cream and thank me later.

Vermont Country Deli, Brattleboro, Vermont

The Vermont Country Deli may be best known for their Mac and cheese, pulled pork and pot stickers, but don’t sleep on their pastry counter and delicious pie selection with buttery crusts and in-season fruit.

Grandma Millers Pies and Pastries, South Londonderry, Vermont

Grandma Miller’s fruit pies, cookies and quick breads are available around southern Vermont and are as classic as they come! Drop in for a pie that tastes like grandma made it!
