Since meeting my husband, a true car enthusiast, I have discovered just how robust of a car community there is in Vermont. From cars and coffee get-togethers on the weekends, to Park & Lounges on Friday nights in the summer, to group rides throughout the state, there are a lot of ways to get involved for lovers with an interest in cars or owners of unique builds, classic cars, muscle cars, or exotics.
Vermont is home to only a few Vermont car shows each summer, namely Wolfsgart and Eurobuilt for euros and a few others for British motorcars and hot rods. But there are a number of large car shows in Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Montreal that are worth a drive.
Last year was the first year I showed my own vehicle (in addition to my husband showcasing his for many years now – check out JSTAWGN.com to learn more). I’ve denoted where we’ll be this summer at Vermont car shows and other New England car shows outside of the state.

Vermont Car Shows for 2023
Wolfsgart – Essex Vermont
Hands down the largest car show in Vermont, Wolfsgart 2023 will be the show’s 13th year running. Wolfsgart is a multi-day event with Brew Hops, Car & Foam, Retro Night and camping onsite. Don’t miss Alpha Class for some of the very best builds in the area.

Eurobuilt Car Show & Charity Auction – Rutland, Vermont
Eurobuilt is Vermont’s car show with the biggest heart, having donated over $40,000 since their first show eight years ago. They just added another event in Greenfield, Massachusetts in May given the draw the Vermont event has. Stick around for the charity auction and awards.

British Invasion – Stowe, Vermont
Vermont’s British Invasion in Stowe is a tribute to the great British motorcar and British lifestyle. 2023 will mark the 32nd year for this show, which attracts over 600 British motorcars from the US and Canada. An adult two-day pass is $15, one day pass is $10 (Sunday only) and kids under 12 are free. Register your vehicle here.

Street Rod Nationals – Essex, Vermont
Street Rod Nationals has many car shows all over the country throughout the spring and summer and comes to Vermont for a show at the Champlain Valley Expo in September. 2023 will be the 29th annual show in Vermont. Enter your vehicle here.

Rally 2 Give – Burlington, Vermont
Rally 2 Give is a traveling “car show” of exotics with a mission of connecting car lovers families and friends to support families with special needs and develop the next generation of leaders. The multi-day New England tour stops in Vermont with a mini car-show at Burton in Burlington, Vermont.

New for 2023 is Eurobuilt Show & Shine in Mass. This is an off-shoot of Eurobuilt Vermont and is open to all Volkswagen, Audi and euros. There will be an enthusiast area for non-euro cars as well. Multiple best in show awards with showfield tickets at $20 and spectators at $5.
June 2023 New England Car Shows
Vagfair Vacationland – Brunswick, Maine
The car show for Volkswagons and Audi’s in Maine is Vagfair, which also has a show in August in Pennsylvania. Enjoy camping at the beach and enjoy the best of Main summer on the coast. Buy tickets for the event here.

August 2023 New England Car Shows
Vagfair – York, Pennsylvania
Vagfair prefers European brands and the m ain classes are VW (including air-cooled) and Audi. $25 per car with a driver. Spectators are $15 on Sunday. There’s a pre-show on Saturday where all vehicles are welcome. Purchase tickets here.
Dream Ride – Farmington, Connecticut
Dream Ride is a multi-day event in Connecticut benefiting The Hometown Foundation, consisting of a Dream Cruise, Dream Ride, and Dream Show with plenty of family-friendly activities interspersed. Hundreds of exotic car owners and classic car owners converge for the show. Staggered Auto Show – Thompson, Connecticut
The best Show Cars, Time Attack, and Lock City Drift will be in attendance again to put on a drift demo with all the top New England drivers at Staggered in CT.
Roots Classic – Wildwood, New Jersey
East Coast MK3 Meet – Clinton, New Jersey
The goal of the East Coast MK3 Meet is a relaxed social weekend with VW enthusiasts.
Northeast Unity – Tuner Falls, Massachusetts
All fun, no drama! Northeast Unity, which takes place along the banks of the Connecticut River, welcomes all VAG cars (VW/Audi). Show up in some cool vintage euro or JDM and they’ll probably let you know. Spectators are free. Register here.

ADK Eurofest – Lake Placid, New York
We’ve attended ADK Eurofest the past two years (since its inception). It’s a small show but the drive there with the foliage in the Adirondack Mountains is definitely worth it. ADK Eurofest is an invite-only show, accepting the cleanest and finest EuroCars. In addition to the show, there’s also a cruise that finishes on Whiteface Mountain. Women of Wolfsburg – Westerly, RI
Montreal Car Shows 2023
Eurokracy – Montreal, Quebec, Canada
